3 Reasons Wooden Fences are Awesome (and 1 Reason They Aren’t)

Wooden Fence

Wooden fences are a great investment for your backyard or commercial business. There are so many finishes, colors, and styles to choose from and you’ll be able to match all three to your building’s aesthetic. You’ll be thrilled with the look of your brand new wooden fence.

Style

One of the best things about wooden fences is the versatility, There are so many different styles to choose from, not to mention colors, stains, and heights. You can really make your fence your own, cater it to your home’s aesthetic, and even create a unique fence that’s one of a kind.

Maintenance

Maintaining a wooden fence is easy as can be. Simply wipe it down, spray it with a hose, or even pressure wash it. Most wooden fences come with specials stains to keep out the elements, deter wood rot and insects, and keep dirt at bay.

Cost

The cost of a wooden fence is often times lower than the cost of other styles of fencing. Generally speaking, wooden fences are the most cost effective option out there. They get the job done at a great price so whether you’re looking for something rustic, something simple, or something chic, you’ll be able to find it at the right price.

Longevity

One of the downfalls of a wooden fence is that it won’t last you as long as a vinyl or aluminum fence would. Now, don’t get us wrong; your fence should still last anywhere from 10-15 years, depending on wear and tear. It just won’t last as long as some other fence styles that can last up to 30 years.  If you’re looking for a fence to stand the test of time, we recommend a vinyl fence instead.

There you have it. We think wooden fences are a great option for your home’s backyard and truly love this fence style for all of these awesome reasons. Consider a wooden fence for your next backyard barrier and you’ll be glad you did!
