4 Best Fencing Options for your Pet

We all want what is best for our furry friends. A nice fence in the backyard can give your pets a whole new world to run and play freely in. There are a few things to consider beforehand to make sure you make the right choice. Here are four of the best options depending on your situation from the most affordable to the most luxurious.

Chain Link

Chain link is the most affordable option. If you’re looking for an option that won’t break the bank this is a great option. The diamond mesh makes for a strong, long lasting design. It can come in different color choices and heights to fit your every need. Finally, it requires almost no extra maintenance.

Wood

While slightly more pricey than the chain link fence, a wood fence is also a pretty affordable option. A large wooden privacy fence gives enough height to prevent jumping out while being strong enough to not be broken when run into.

Vinyl

A vinyl fence is also another great option. There are many types of vinyl fence, but a privacy vinyl fence is one of the best choices for outdoor pet owners. It is more than tall enough to prevent a dog from jumping out while having no gaps between panels for them to get through. Vinyl costs slightly more than a wood fence but can last longer and require less maintenance in the future.

Ornamental

Ornamental fencing is one of the most luxurious fence options. It has beautiful curb appeal while also being an incredibly sturdy type of fence. It can come in many different heights depending on your pets size.

When it comes to the perfect fence for your pet ultimately what matters most is what works best for you. Your pet simply needs a fence tall enough for them not to jump over and strong enough to handle some bumps and bruises. A dog who loves to chew may not do well with a wooden fence but for the most part a solid fence opens the world up our pets to roam, live, and feel free. All of the options above will help you make sure the fence you buy for your pet makes you as happy as they will be.
