4 Ways to Jazz Up your Fence

With spring right around the corner, you may find yourself wanting to do some DIY crafts, like jazzing up your fence. There are many ways to do this; the creative ideas are endless! You can style up your fence however you like by adding some character or style to match your personality or home’s vibe.

Lights

Adding lights to a fence is the simplest way to add a little something extra. Adding lights to your fence can give it a fresh look and be a nice aesthetic around your yard for those summer nights you’ll want to spend outside. It’s very relaxing to sit in your back or front yard when the weather is warm, the stars are out, and there is just the right amount of light to illuminate your home.

Mural

If you have a wooden fence and you are feeling super creative, you can turn it into a mural! Murals are beautiful, especially if you paint them yourself. Taking a few days on the weekend to paint can be fun and relaxing, and you can even have kids help! A mural adds a lot of characteristic to your home and you can tailor it however you’d like. It also would be a great conversation starter for guests.

Artwork

If you have extra art or materials around the house, you can use them to decorate your fence. For example, mason jars make a perfect outdoor decoration. You can hang them on the fence and even plant a few flowers in them. Metal artwork is a great option for hanging on your fence. Pick something that matches your style and add it to your fence. Try anything out that you find around the house. There’s no wrong way to do it!

Garden

For all you green thumbs out there, you can make a fence into a garden wall! There are so many different ways to get creative with a garden wall. You can put planter boxes, pots, bushes, vines, and more into or around the fence. You can constantly change it up too, depending on the season and your personal foliage preference. Go get your gloves and flowers and get this thing started!

Hopefully, you have an idea of just how you want to jazz your fence up! There were so many innovative ways to add some character to your fence and don’t forget, a fence can just as beautiful on its own.
