Landscaping Around Your Apartment Complex

Landscaping your apartment complex can seem like a pretty difficult task. You have to put your tenants first. You have to figure out what will be the most appealing to them. Here are some things to consider in order to improve your property.

Outdoor Entertainment

Having outdoor entertainment for your tenants is a must. Having amenities like grills, outdoor living spaces, and outdoor kitchens are sure to make your current tenants happy and attract potential new ones.

Lighting

Appropriate lighting around the apartment complex is very important. Lighting allows people to spend more time outside grilling and lounging. And lighting is important for safety reasons. Lighting will prevent a large number of crimes from happening at your apartment complex.

Fencing

Installing commercial fencing around your property is good for many reasons. Commercial fencing will provide privacy, security, visual appeal, and more. Keeping your tenants safe should be your number one priority.

Outdoor Recreation

Another important thing to tenants are outdoor recreation amenities such as a pool, volleyball court, and basketball court. Tenants are more likely to stay at your apartment complex and renew their leases if there are amenities for them to enjoy.

Green Landscaping

Believe it or not tenants really care about what the outside of their apartment looks like. Beautifully landscaped flowers, trees, and shrubs will attract more tenants. A good idea would be to have a courtyard garden or window box for tenants to grow their own plants.

When it comes to landscaping your apartment complex you will need to do some research to determine what tenants are looking for. Remember, your tenants should be your number one priority.
