Commercial Fences: Types of Fences

Small Garden -- Vinyl Fence

Putting a fence up on a commercial lot [or business really!] is different than putting one on a residential lot. For a home it really only matters if you are happy with it, but with a business you need to consider your customers opinions — what kind of message does your fence say about your business?

There are a lot of options when choosing a fence and it can be fairly overwhelming when considering such an investment. You need to consider the make of the fence, height of the fence, where you want it to be on the property, the style of the fence, and the price. Also to consider is the city’s [or town’s] regulations for fences so you don’t have to pay a fine or remove your fence entirely!

Here are a few options we’ve summarized for you:

Wood

A wooden fence comes in many styles and is a nice fit for a business that wants to give off a relaxing and comfy feel. Though often seen on residential lots, wooden fences are perfect almost everywhere.

Ornamental

Ornamental fences can come in a number of styles and can go from looking classy and refined to looking stern and impressive. This regal fence option is long lasting, extremely sturdy, and can be found in all sorts of locations — from old manors, new homes, and solid businesses.

Chain-Link

Chain-link is often seen on commercial lots — factories, storage buildings, schools, prisons, and many other places. Chain-link fences are versatile, affordable, and require little maintenance. Chain link fences are so durable, in fact, that they can last for decades without any kind of repair at all.

Vinyl

Vinyl fences are often a fence you don’t think about, but they are actually extremely popular and look nice just about everywhere. The styles of vinyl fences are numerable, sturdy, and versatile.

We at Central Fence hope you’ll consider some of these options when you are in the market for a commercial fence. Reach out to us at 1-800-221-6245 for a free quote or more information. We’re always happy to hear from you!
