Vinyl Coated Chain Link for Your Home

When it comes to chain link fences, you’re sure to see them around apartment complexes, factories, and playgrounds. You don’t commonly see these around houses but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t a great option for your home. We’ll outline here why a vinyl coated chain link fence can be a good choice for your home’s yard.

First, you should know how vinyl coated chain link differs from plain chain link. Just as the name suggests, this kind is coated in vinyl, therefore making it more durable and often more pleasing to look at that other chain link options. It comes in several color options and prevents rust and other issues.

For your home, this is a great option for several reasons. Chain link is see-through making it more of a barrier than a privacy fence which is perfect if you don’t want to block your yard off from the rest of the world while still making it exclusive. You’ll be able to easily see any lurkers or passerby and criminals will be in plain view instead of hidden by a solid fence.

Another reason you might consider a chain link fence is the price. These tend to be on the lesser expensive side and if you’re not looking for a privacy fence or a solid one, consider getting a chain link fence to do the job.

If you’re not keen on the look of a chain link fence, there are several ways to beautify your fence. As we mentioned, vinyl coated chain link is great because it comes in several color options to match your home’s decor and your own personal taste. It also prevents rust and creates an overall sturdier fence, making your chain link hold up longer than one without a vinyl coating.
