By Teresa Dixon In Choosing a Fence, Commercial Fences

Barricade Your Business

Business Fencing

Your business is your livelihood. You’ve likely invested much of your life into it. So what are you doing to protect it? You may have security cameras or guards inside, but blocking criminals from the outside is the first step to ensuring a safe and secure workplace for your employees.

Fence it in

To stop thieves and vandals from the outside, consider a fence. Choosing a fence may seem like a task you’re not well equipped for but it couldn’t be easier. There are a few things you’ll want to look at when it comes to your fence though.

Height

It’s important that your fence be tall enough to dissuade jumpers. It’s easy to climb over a 6 foot fence for those who are determined but it’s much harder with a 10 or 12 foot fence. This is also where you might add barbed wire or other devices to keep out those who want to get in.

Durability

You’ll also want for your fence to be durable enough to guard against determined criminals. Wire cutters, shears, and other tools are used to break through fences and you can prevent this from affecting your business by investing in a sturdy material.

Low Maintenance

With so many other things to do, you don’t want to be worrying about maintaining your fence. Pick a low maintenance option that saves time for business, rather than cleaning or repair. A low maintenance fence also saves you money in the long run from an early replacement.

Choose a chain link fence.

With all of this in mind, a chain link fence is one of the best commercial fences you could ask for. It’s sturdy, low maintenance, and a great option for your commercial business.
