Why Are Vinyl Fences So Low Maintenance?

Vinyl Fences are the ultimate luxury, low maintenance fences. Where wooden fences are constantly needing maintenance and chainlink doesn’t give you the curb appeal you want. Vinyl fences are the modern day answer you’ve been yearning for.

Wooden fences are classic and can look great! The problem is it will also require many weekends of repairs, repainting and restoring. You buy a fence to give you privacy to be able to enjoy your yard but with constant repair headaches that initial curb appeal becomes much less appealing… and to neglect repairs would mean losing its stylish look completely! With vinyl fences you can get that same pristine look and keep it without the worry of rot or the need to ever repaint or re-stain.

This however doesn’t mean that there is absolutely no maintenance on vinyl fences- When stains and marks end up on your vinyl fence, you don’t go to the store to buy a brush and paint! You simply get a hose and spray it all off. It’s as simple as that to have your fence back to looking good as new and to you enjoying your free time relaxing instead of working more.

The most maintenance you will have with your vinyl fence will come from algae or mildew. You can mostly prevent that by trying not to have your sprinkler system or heavy water source hitting it constantly. Though that can’t be the case for every part of the fence, don’t worry! Even for mold and mildew the maintenance is fairly easy. You will start with spraying off the fence as mentioned before. You will then get a rag or brush, some water, and dish soap then just wipe or brush it away! Much easier than dealing with water damaged wood.

By capturing that pristine look of a wooden fence, and having the easy cleanup and low maintenance of a chainlink fence, vinyl fences have shown to be the perfect combination of everything you need in a fence! From privacy to aesthetic, vinyl fences have it all.
