4 Questions to Ask Before Your Commercial Fence Installation

Before picking your commercial fence type and setting the date for your fence to be installed, there are a few things to think about. You probably have questions for your fence company and we’re here to help! Be sure to ask these questions and any other ones you might have before your commercial fence installation.

Fence Type

The first thing to decide on is what type of fence you want. Are you looking for a privacy fence or one for security? You may want the industriousness of a chain link fence but love the look of an ornamental one. The choice is ultimately up to you but your fence contractor can point you in the right direction for your needs.

Security

Chances are if you’re looking for a fence for your business, it needs to have some security features. Whether it’s an access panel gate or full privacy, your fence has a job to do. Our installers can tell you which security features are worth the upgrade and which ones will be most beneficial to your business.

Maintenance

As you focus on your business needs on the day-to-day, you don’t want to be worrying about your fence; whether it’s handling the elements, needs to be cleaned, is broken, or anything of the sort. Consider which fence types require the amount of maintenance you’re willing to put into a fence. Most chain link fence that are either galvanized or vinyl-coated can last for decades and only need a wash every now and then and vinyl fences can last quite a while too with little maintenance.

Extras

Each business is different and your fence is no exception. Ask about customizations to make the fence uniquely yours. For example, some chain link fences include barbed wire or other precautions that make it more secure against criminals. Ornamental fences are easily customizable with toppers to match your industry or aesthetic.

Ask about these things and more when it comes to your commercial fence installation. Do the research now to protect your commercial business for years to come.
