Annual Independence Day Concert & Parade
This yearly event will be taking place at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center in Madison, Ga on July 3rd. The celebration is free to attend and will feature live patriotic music by the Athens Classic City Band, Georgia’s longest operating community band.

Independence Day Celebration In Thomasville
This 4th of July celebration is free for all and will be taking place in downtown Thomasville, Ga. There will be tons to do: food, fun activities, face painting, fireworks, music featuring the 80s tribute band, “Members Only” and more. Click here for more information.
The AJC Peachtree Road Race
Atlanta’s biggest 4th of July celebration is the Peachtree Road Race. This patriotic race attracts runners/walkers of all ages. Registration to participate in the race has closed but you can still go and watch! Click here for more information.
July 4th at Gibbs Gardens
This relaxing event will take place at Gibbs Gardens in Ball Grounds, Ga on the 4th of July. The gardens will be open from 9am-9pm. During the day, there will be classical music playing throughout the gardens and the night will feature rock-n-roll and soft country music. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Firecracker Fest
This fun filled attraction will take place on the 4th of July at Mill Creek Park in Statesboro, Ga. There will be music, food, inflatables, kid-friendly activities, demonstrations, and a fireworks show. The festival will take place from 5-11pm. Click here for more information.
