Christmas Decorations for Outside of Your Home

We know you’re probably going all out to decorate the inside of your home for Christmas but don’t forget about the outside! There are plenty of things you can do to decorate your yard and fence for the holiday season.

Fence

Your fence is a great place to start when it comes to decorating for Christmas. You can hang garland, string up lights, decorate with wooden or vinyl plaques, the options are limitless. Simply make sure your decorations are outdoor/weatherproof and enjoy the look of a fence that exudes the spirit of Christmas.

Blow ups

Many people decorate their yard with blow up figures of favorite Christmas characters. Find a few at your local hardware store, like a snow globe, a snowman, Santa, or even your favorite Peanuts character and decorate your yard with these electric decorations.

Wreaths

Your front door would be missing out on the decor fun if you didn’t have a wreath on it. You can purchase a wreath at any home goods store but try your hand at making your own by visiting a craft store. Your wreath will be unique to you and you can customize it as you wish.

Lights

Consider stringing lights up along your home’s roof. You can choose between clear and colored lights, or mix and match to enhance your home’s aesthetic. Turn them on when it gets dark and enjoy the thought that people are riding by and loving the Christmas spirit coming from your home.
