Festive Fall Fencing

Wooden Fence

It’s finally fall and although the weather might not have caught on to that fact yet, we’re certainly ready for all that comes with the autumn season. One of the best parts of the fall is being able to decorate your home in all the festive colors and your fence is no different. Don’t leave out your wooden, vinyl, or aluminum fence from the fun; use these ideas to turn your backyard into an autumnal dream.

Wreaths

Wreaths aren’t just for your door. Hang one wreath in the middle of your fence or hang several along the length of it. Include fall colors and festive themes in each wreath to ensure they show your love for fall first and foremost. This especially looks great on wooden or vinyl fences and you can easily match the color of your fence to accents in your wreath for even more fall festivities.

Garland

Here in the south, leaves won’t start changing for a couple more months. You might not even have any trees in your backyard. But You still want the area to have that fall feel. Consider wrapping your fence in fall colored garland to help get into the spirit. You can even decorate the garland with Halloween decor, pumpkins, or acorns.

Halloween

The Halloween decorations don’t have to be limited to your home! Turn your backyard into a spooky space by hanging black and orange colored lights, plastic ghosts, and other scary items along the fence or in nearby trees.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is the quintessential fall holiday for decor. Everything is pumpkins, woodland creatures, and outdoors in a beautiful rustic aesthetic. You can easily decorate your fence with fall colored knick-knacks and turn your backyard into a fall oasis before our southern weather catches up.

Easily get your backyard into the autumn spirit by decorating with a variety of outdoor decor items. You’ll love the look and feel of a backyard decorated for the season!
