Tailgating in your Backyard

Who’s ready for the big game? I know we are; it’s the last and most exciting game of the season! This is the game that the whole entire season has been building up to and what a better way to spice up a football game than a tailgate. The perfect place to tailgate for the game is your backyard.

Since it’s the last game of the season, it must go out with a bang. You have to make sure to accommodate your guests with the essentials and we’ve got a list to make sure you’ve got it covered.

Parties like these are meant to have great energy, delicious finger foods to snack on, plenty of seating, a hopping playlist, and fun games.

Make sure you’ve got a grill master making hot dogs, hamburgers, and more. It’s also not a tailgate without chips, salsa, and guacamole, so have plenty on hand! Everyone is in good spirits when there’s food around and a great atmosphere makes the party that much more enjoyable.

Make sure that everyone has a place to sit, (even if many fans will be too excited to sit.) Bring out those lawn chairs, folding chairs, and stools so that everyone has a place to sit around the tv and have some seating in a different area for those who might want to chat or get away from the chaos for a bit.

If you’ve got some downtime before kick-off, put the most music oriented person in charge of a playlist, and make sure that it has a great variety of exciting songs. Games, like cornhole and trivia, are a must for a tailgate and take up a little pre-game time before the big game.

Prepare, eat, play, and socialize beforehand and you won’t have to miss a minute of the game once it starts. But make sure to enjoy yourself and have a great time. May the best team win!
