Top 3 Vinyl Fence Styles

When you decide to purchase a vinyl fence for your home, you’ll soon find that there are several different varieties from which you can choose. Depending on your particular wants and needs, one style might suit your home or property better than another. Check out a few of the most popular styles of vinyl fence, and consider whether one of these might be perfect for you.

Privacy Fence

Many homeowners choose vinyl for their privacy fences because it is effective, durable, and affordable. Privacy fences will generally be around six feet tall, although sometimes taller varieties are available. Vinyl is a great choice for a privacy fence because you’re probably going to need a lot of fence to fully conceal your property, and vinyl is easier to maintain than other styles such as wood. When you’re looking for a privacy fence, select a panel style that does not have any gaps through which unwanted eyes can peek. The most popular color for vinyl privacy fencing is white, but other options are available as well.

Picket Fence

Picket fences are a great way to dress up your lawn or land. We love vinyl for the traditional white picket fence because, unlike wood, you can love this fence for many, many years. You can pick post caps that suit your own decor, personalizing your timeless fence and making it all your own. There are various different heights of picket fence available, so whether you’re looking for something tall or short, you’re sure to find a style that’s perfect for you. Picket fences are traditionally used to accent a front lawn, but they also make a great addition to flower beds or larger plots of land as well.

Wood-Look Fence

If you love the look of a wooden fence but don’t love the upkeep and repairs involved with that style, you can purchase vinyl fence that’s specifically made to resemble wood. Generally this type of vinyl will be colored brown, but have the same look and feel as normal vinyl fencing. This is a great option if for some reason the more common white panel doesn’t suit your decor, or if you just aren’t a big fan of it. Brown doesn’t require cleaning as often as white does, so it’s becoming increasingly popular. It’s also an unusual choice that will probably garner the attention and envy of your neighbors!
