How to Make Your Fence Stand out from the Rest

Too often, homeowners shy away from a fence they really need because they are weary of the way it will look. A residential fence doesn’t have to look industrial! Here are a few tips to keeping your home looking exactly the way you like by making your fence unique:

Bold Colors

Who says a wood fence has to stay brown? Not us! In fact, the ability to paint your fence is one of the best reasons to opt for a wood fence. Paint it to match your house’s exterior paint color, let your kids get creative painting designs on it, even paint it to match your favorite sports team’s colors. The bolder the better!

Unique Patterns

A small fence around a garden is screaming to be made more unique. If your fence was put up to keep your garden safe and secure, this is the perfect reason to keep your creativity flowing and put designs on it. While the obvious choices would be to paint a garden scene on a wood fence, you may just want abstract designs that make you feel peaceful as you tend to your flowers and vegetables.

The Placing

Not everyone needs a fence around the entire perimeter of their property. If you want the kids to have a place to play, just put it around their swing set and toys. If your dogs needs some room to roam, but you don’t want his droppings everywhere in your backyard, a fenced-in dog kennel is a much better idea than giving him complete access to the entire yard. Make sure your fence meets your exact needs, and isn’t just placed arbitrarily.

Make it More Useful

A fence can do more than just separate two plots of land. Depending on what type of fence you already have or chose to have installed, it can be extremely useful. A chainlink fence can easily be fashioned to hold hanging planters and a vinyl fence can be draped with strings of lights to illuminate your entire backyard. Get creative and use your fence to its fullest potential!

Your fence should be exactly what you want and need. Central Fence can help you achieve this. To get started, contact us today.
